Serengeti Railway

A ride on the Serengeti Railway is one of the best ways to take in the breathtaking beauty and scale of Busch Garden's serengeti Plain.

With stops at the Congo, Nairobi and Stanleyville, this relaxing ride gives you a great view of our large free-roaming herds of African animals, including giraffe, zebra, antelope, ostrich and much more. Riders also get close-up views of the twisting elements of Shikra, Kumba, Montu and other fascinating attractions at the park.

The four locomotive engines of the Serengeti Railway train are fueled by clean-burning propane gas. Two engines are replicas of the ones used in Africa in the early 1900s, while the remaining two are similar to those used to pioneer the American Old West. It's a wonderful and memorable way for the whole family to travel the park.
